Nå har du mulighet at kjøpe bilder som har hengt på utstilling på Lodbjerg fyr i Danmark og på Naturum Getterön i Varberg. Stig er også på plass og forteller om sitt projekt Siste stikk/Buzz kill.
The award-winning project has been exhibited at: Cyan Gallery Oslo, Lista Wetland Center, the Norwegian Nature Photo Festival, and as a part of the Picture of the year exhibition, a one year long exhibition at the Botanical Garden in Oslo, at Lodbjerg Fyr in Denmark and in Varberg, Sweden. In the summer 2025 new exhibitions are in planning. The picture and project has also been published in the biggest newspaper magazine in Norway and featured in a number of news outlets, newspapers in Norway and Denmark, as well as a podcast. A Norwegian contemporary composer has also written a baroque piece for the bass lute based on the project.Over a period of three years, press photographer and artist
Stig B. Hansen has collected and photographed dead insects from across Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Germany. The aim of the project is to focus on the anthropogenic reasons for the collapse in insect populations, how our way of life affects those that are among the very smallest, but also among the most important. He wanted to show that they are individuals, with their own lives filled with purpose. The dead insects were brought home to the photographer, where, using a technique called “macro stacking”, each subject is photographed 50-150 times and merged together to achieve an impressive level of detail and sharpness. The insects have been captured as they were when they were found, without any cosmetic alterations, and they are all found dead by the photographer.
